On the Shelf: The War of the Worlds, is a continued exploration and interpretation of found objects. Its origin is based from the “On the Ply” where I identify, deduct and extract a subject from the canvas (found object) in this case, a metal shelf. I use minimal materials in their creation, pencil, paint pen, white paint. Any color or patina occurs -I hate to use this word- organically through time.
